If there’s anything bad to say about the Deluge, it’s perhaps that the synth engine lacks some body,

Deluge is really great, in comparison to MC-101 it wins on track count and sampling, but loses on sound quality, ease of use and realtime control.

Oh dear … this isn’t what I wanted to hear … maybe I should regard the deluge as a sequencer/sampler purchase … with the possible bonus of some included synth sounds…
