When I remodelled my room I built this cupboard space specifically for this thread!!
I also have another newly formed’ cupboard in the eaves for empty boxes.

Went to grab something under the bed and put something in storage in its place. Remembered this thread.
Some boxes are empty since the equipment is in use, other are full and then large boxes contain several smaller boxes of stuff.

For all of you with your synths under your beds, um, you have Decksavers on them, right?

No decksavers. But they are in the box. If they survive shipping in it, they can survive being under the bed. Regardless, if I put my weight on top of a synth it’s toast, decksaver or no decksaver

I keep everything out and ready to use if I can. If I put something away it’s like introducing a psychological barrier that stops me using it, no matter how small the inconvenience. If I’m not using something, I’d rather someone else was using and enjoying it - so I’ll probably sell it. It’s the same with guitars - if it’s in a case, I’ll be much much less inclined to play it.
This is probably why my setup these days is rather modest.
