Synth specific hardware to DAW Interfaces

I’ve been looking at synth hardware to digital DAW interfaces. I want to multi-track record everything at once as I ‘perform’ and then go to my DAW and finish the tracks.

The Behringer XR18 seems to be the best option, for the most part – but it’s a little older now (~11 years?) and wondering if there isn’t something newer/better?

I’ve come across the Tascam Model 12, Focusrite Scarlett, Zoom Livetrak – but at the end of the day I’m surprised there isn’t a new synth-focused 8–16 channels that is stripped down (don’t need FX, sliders, XLR inputs, Phantom Power, etc.)

Ideally I’d like to take several boxes like the Machinedrum, OT, etc (non-overbridge boxes) and have a group of individual outs (one for kick, one for hats, etc) + their main stereo outs and record everything into a DAW tracked and have a seamless recording of it all.

Is the Behringer XR18 still the best looking option? Does anyone who has one of these recommend it?

edit: spelling.

An update in case anyone else comes across this similar question.

I did more research here on Elektronauts, Youtube, and other forums. It came down to the Behringer umc1820 (~$265CAD) and the PreSonus 16R Digital Rack Mixer (currently on sale for ~$1089CAD until Jan 31).

Behringer is good value for that price and that’s one I would take to a live setting since it’s not so precious, but I wanted a few more channels and can’t go wrong with Presonus at the sale price so I went with the PreSonus. It also has an SD card slot so it can record.

Bluebox by 1010music

Bluebox looks like a great recorder and was first on my list when I started researching but it unfortunately doesn’t act as an interface. Otherwise I may have gotten it.

Umc1820+ada8200 is like 300 dollas.
Edit: ah you already found a solution

UMC1820 is probably a great option.
