It’s been ages since I’ve had time to do any SSLs but here’s my SY TOY entry.
I’ve rearranged my set up a bit so the Syntakt now goes through the Digitakt then a TR8s into the mixer so there’s a bit of compression from the DT.
Listening back to it I think I could have done a lot more to each sound as it played but it what it is. I found adjusting the DEC and PART was good on this machine as was using LFO on the FORM.
Will try and post project file soon.
nice work. the percussion is satisfyingly snappy and i really like the bassy sounds that begin at 0:48. it reminds me of some similar sounds i have done using some additive synth vsts
I some how missed more than a few entries, but really like the Wave of Murky Water. Great sounds and should be a track.
Man, I don’t know if it’s just the toy machine’s tendencies or more likely how you program…
but everything you’re posting sounds like it would fit right in on the Machinarium soundtrack, which is one of my all time favorite pieces of music. Start with the Nanorobot theme for those unfamiliar.
You’re the second person this week who compares my Syntakt stuff to the Machinarium OST ![]()
Thank you for introducing me to that ![]()
EDIT: … and for triggering me to explore this thread further. Great stuff here.
