I recently bought a pre-owned syntakt but unfortunately the previous owner deleted all the factory presets. Is there any way I could download and put them back on to my device?
Welcome! Assuming it’s okay to post them, I backed them up before deleting/rearranging on mine. Don’t miss the free Team Machines pack from Elektron, those are excellent and include presets for the SY RAW and SWARM. ST stock sounds backup.zip (834.9 KB)

…must have been a weird pre owner…syntakt comes with heaps of pretty universal preset pearls and is already famous for it’s fast morphability meets versatility within it’s reduced to max parameter selection for each of it’s synthesis models…

Just a heads up - you can also do this (with all Elektron boxes) by powering up with the FUNC button held. From there you can do a Factory Reset and it will re-install all factory content.

I can understand why the previous owner nuked the ST factory content… a lot of duplicates in the sounds (or a bunch of very samey sounding kicks at the very least). I remember removing the write protection on all of the sounds, then going through them one by one and deleting out any sounds I didnt like… made enough room for at least 1 full bank, if not more hehehe!
