Syntakt incoming midi velocity

Hi there, can someone tell me how can I turn off velocity for incoming midi? So i would play my midi keys and it will only record the notes

Velocity should only come through if CC is actively being received.

Try: settings > midi config > port config > then uncheck the box for “receive cc/nrpn” in order to disable the receipt of CC to the syntakt.

Make sure the box for “receive notes” is still populated.

As long as you don’t have any other reason to be receiving CC from your controller I think this will work.

This is part of the sub-heading of “settings menu” if you want to see it in the user manual.

Velocity is included in midi note messages. Can’t be disable but some controllers can send fixed velocity. A note on with velocity 0 is interpreted as a note off.
