Mine was supposed to arrive tomorrow from Gear4Music in the UK but I got a message saying it would be delayed. I’m waiting on shipping conformation from them

My rep said a few more weeks. Stoked.

I ordered from them today too, there was 1 in stock…after I ordered there web site still said 1 in stock. I had a pre-order with Andertons from a month or 2 ago…est date was 20th September. I’ve cancelled with Anderson’s but not had any response from Gear4Music, I did pay £8 for next day delivery…will keep you posted.

FEB 2025 NOW !!!

Anderton’s saying September 20th (2024).

Thanks for the update. I’ll be pissed (and cancelling my order) if they’re now quoting Feb. I’ll give them a couple of days (in case their first batch are going to get dispatched imminently) but I don’t like that sort of behaviour from shops.

No I bought from Alto on Amazon. I also had a preorder setup, which I also did as soon as it was available, but was just scrolling g through Amazon and saw it available to ship and pounced on it.
It’s so weird that some distributors are getting them weeks ahead of the bigger stores like SW. Perhaps it has to do with quantity, maybe SW is buying so much at one time that B has to space the order out .

Mine arrived this Morning… sounds fantastic to my ears, all Syncussion at the start of this jam;

So are you in the UK? I’m wondering if mine will turn up tomorrow? I ordered mine before you (I ordered it last weekend) but still haven’t had the dispatch notification. They did say they couldn’t deliver sat and we’re aiming for next working day (I didn’t pay for the time slot delivery) which would be tomorrow

Yeah I’m in uk, just ordered Friday and paid £8 next day delivery…although it got delayed by one day (DPD issue, not gear4sound). Have you had dispatched notice email?

Uk couriers are terrible. Evri lost a monitor I ordered on Amazon and a regular package I get delivered is always a day or two late.

I’d like to grab one but I think I’ll find a sample pack. I’ve got too much gear already.

Imagine one could cv control osc mode …

Nope, only the email I got thursday saying…

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have not been able to dispatch your order (xxxxxx) in time for delivery on the date that you were expecting.
We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience caused by this.
We aim to dispatch your order on our next working day, and our customer services team will be in touch should there be any further delay.

I’m going to ring them in the morning and see what they say

Seems a bit wrong/unfair…you’ve had pre order for several weeks, somebody (me!) else places ordered with preferred next day delivery and they seeming jump the queue…

For transparency I’ve used G4M 3 or 4 times over the years, no complaints.

Hope they dispatch your SY1 soon…

Yeah if they’re effectively selling to the highest bidder (by way of priority shipping etc) it’ll be the last time I buy from them. I’ll give them a bell tomorrow and see what they say and I’ll keep you and rest of the community informed. Shitty practices deserve to be called out, if that is what’s happened here

Nah, I gave up on Sweetwater preorders because they tend to get new gear months later than other U.S. retailers—at least, that was my experience several times.

I was wondering about Alto having all this available stock when I coincidentally noticed that the “behringer b-stock outlet” on reverb has the same physical address as Alto music, so if they’re the official b-stock gear distributor for behringer products, maybe Alto specifically has a special business priority arrangement with B.

I also couldn’t figure out how Alto’s shipment was stateside like months before SW, feels like too much to be a coincidence, but after seeing the correlation I started to think Alto and B are probably somehow in bed together. I mean it’s just a theory but it’s probably correct.

They are. The Behringer outlet store on Reverb have UBXAs B stocks on sale for $800, which was too bonkers to pass up. Arriving tomorrow from Alto Music per UPS. So I guess they’re up there in the exclusive B retailers now like SW and Amazon, which coincidentally mostly sell their Behringers from Alto. Amazon had 4 SY1s in stock last night. Sold out today.

I looked at that too, I guess they have more than one available. They got the first stateside shipment of syncussion as well as ms-1 mk2.
