Syncussion SY-1 from Behringer

Ah, ok. 3 octaves is ok, I guess. Seems similar to what I get on my Beecussion, but maybe it needs a bit more warm up time.
But hey, as long as it’s not audibly drifting apart, that’s good enough for an analog percussion synth.

From C5 to C3 mine stays within 0,8 - 1,2 cents, dropping to around 5 cents in the lower octaves. C6 is around 12 cents off, C7 already more than 45 cents. From C7 it sounds a bit whacked, but overall that’s ok imho.

I wanted to get an SY0.5. It has cv over filter and osc mode, that’s pretty useful, but then I saw that Beecussions were stocked at Thomann and I decided to try one. Overall I’m pretty happy with it. I’m a sucker for Syncussion basslines and having two voices means I can have one dedicated to bassline duties while the other one is free to do leads or perc sounds.
Syncussion basslines are gorgeous! But also the lead and perc sounds are nice and really shine through a reverb and/or other fx.
