Humble Bundle with 5 Cherry Audio VSTs and lots of loops/samples for 25€
anybody tried this yet, definitely read the install text
I installed earlier in the week. Some decent tweaking, especially considering it’s free. Stereo spreads works well and I like the varispeed tape emulation.
The modes and modules per mode are on the website. It’s all explained there. The interface is a little small on my screen, and the info help is a little tiny, but it’s also pretty easy to get around quickly without much reading.
Worthy download IMO and great little freebie.
I got an email with a personalised 80% off any Klevgrand product for one week. Not sure if it’s a global thing but worth checking your account if you have one.
Picked up Skaka for about £10!
yeah this was an unexpected treat, I wonder if there is an even better paid version on the way either way I’m glad I downloaded this one
@ elxsound@ captain8 i was planning to dowload per your enthusiasm but i got discouraged by the instruction of enablinbg it. i am as simply not familiar with anything more clicking and auto-download. But i really like the graphic UI , kinda similar to FFSO.
I’m the same way, but copy pasting those commands took less than two seconds… it’s worth a try
cheers. will give a try. thank you.
Thanks for the heads up, grabbed Parrot for $10 ![]()
Please share how you get on with this one.
I have it, but can’t see why copy/paste into a new track wouldn’t work better than this. I even watched the videos today to see what I was missing, but even as a mangler/glitcher, it’s a bit tame.
See, that’s kind of why it appealed to me - I have a bunch of multi-FX boxes that do beat repeating-type effects, but they always feel a bit like using a sledgehammer to crack a walnut. It’s nice to have something a bit more straight-forward like this - tbh I’d probably be thoroughly whelmed if I’d paid full price, but for $10 I’m happy with it.
Just took a few minutes to demo this and it sounds really lovely. It’s got a great, dynamic feeling and the sounds themselves have a lot of body. As a point of comparison, it reminded me a little of the Waldorf Microwave plugin, which I find feels substantial to me for some reason.
I’m going to play with it some more. The way in which sound design works wasn’t super clear to me, so I need to play with it more. I’ve got more than enough soft synths, so this is far from needed, but it’s a very cool synth that sounds great. Thanks for posting about it.
There’s an demo of this on YT now that gives a very good idea of how it sounds and how the sound design works.
Synsonic Instruments offering commercial drum plugins for free:
Roland’s Zenology Pro is currently 50% off at PB.com!!!
This is a big deal. 1. Rarely ever discounted. 2. It is great and super easy to program. IYKYK.
I wonder if buying a lifetime license from PB now earns you the new incoming iPad version free? ![]()

With a bit more thought—Hell no. Roland is definitely going to charge a separate lifetime license for the iPad version once the free demo period they announced expires.
Thanks for posting this!
Seems like a great deal, includes all the Models as well (I think).
Is it definitely a lifetime license?
Also can anyone compare the rompler parts of this to Omnisphere 2/3?
I’d love to see that comparison too!
In my experience with PB/Roland, yes this is a lifetime license.

The Price and discount reflect the cost of ZP lifetime license.
-
There’s no other way to run ZP beside having a membership which terms would have been specified.
Also, i don’t see anything that says the Models are included. The ZP Collection includes them and is $599. Roland doesn’t do freebies unless you buy a membership or expensive piece of hardware.
Sure. They’re both uglier tf.lmfao. Soundwise, it depends on what you prefer.
Bias
: I’m a Roland nut who prefers analogy, thick, warm, juicy sounds familiar to the music my grandparents, parents and I grew up on (Jazz, Soul, Rock, Hip Hop, RnB). There is likely no popular artist, band, etc that didn’t use Roland gear (synth, fx). All of it is accessible in ZP.
Conversely, Omni features deep, evolving, cinematic, complex and experimental patches. Way too many imho. If you are more compelled by movie/tv scores than pop charts or old record collections—Omni.
This is oversimplification of a complicated opinion but I don’t want to derail the thread anymore than I have.
