To answer my own question it looks from the video like you can dial in specific amounts with… the dial, it’s the arrows or buttons that are in increments of 10

Love Kick 2

Enjoy! Yeah Kick 2 is awesome, I don’t even use much more than an 808 style kick for deep techno, rarely use any layers or anything, but the ability to easily dial in the pitch and amplitude helps so much in making it feel cohesive. Nicely designed and sounds great.

Syntorial on sale!

I’ll probably buy it as I’ve been thinking about it for a while. Anyone tried building blocks?

Goodhertz having their 37% off sale. I’m still on the fence as they seem a bit pricey compared to other plugin manufacturers. Would love to hear from others that have used these. Are they worth it?

they are great, I don’t currently own any. whether they are worth it depends on how much you use them and how pricey they feel. I might get a few, namely can opener.

I just clocked that there is a presale for a vulf compressor mastering edition

sounds interesting!

Did you finally take the plunge? Thoughts? I’m still enjoying mine but mainly just use LadyBug Reverb, Fox Echo Chorus, Dragon EQ (crunchy goodness) and Yak Delay.

LadyBug Reverb and Yak Delay are super easy to dial in musical character, to lo-fi.

A completely free synth from Dawesome that resynthesises your samples in lots of interesting ways. I’ve got mixed feelings on Myth, but the new resynthesis engine is very nice - and now half the synth is available for free. And for that price… well you might as well give it a go!

Ive never seen anyone talk about Building Blocks. Might the the demo

I have their saturator - Tupe - and it’s great. Has a great sound and is very versatile going on a lot of different sound sources…

I tried it a few years ago – quality was pretty good , I may go back to it … like a lot of that kind of stuff though the musical examples were stuff I just didn’t care about so it was hard muster enthusiasm for learning about chord progressions, or the push and pull of a basic 808 drum loop, when I just want to experiment and smash everything into everything and then hear the talk from my father as to why I can’t make some ‘actual music’ …

I’ve opened a thread for these a few weeks ago, it’s full of praise:

The sale will last around two weeks and you can download demos for all of their plugins that last 30 days. So you could just try them before you buy them?

I tried them but I’m going to hold off this year on getting any. I opted to buy the NI crush pack used for $13 instead. Super happy with that. the only pricey plugin I plan to buy this year is Oeksound Bloom when it goes on sale.
