SW DEALS : Software on Sale

The “Narrow from C1” mapping is the more practical for a quick setup when using piano roll in daws. Using the built-in sequencer is another way of easily using it without creating your own mapping and should not be neglected with it’s polyrythmic lanes.

That’s clearly not your typical drum sounds but it’s definitely a sound design fest.
One of the many things i love is that you can define the number of identical engines, so you can have a kit with 8 tracks populated with “Full” engine and build a bleep/glitch instrument in no time.

Sugar Bytes makes sales quite often in all cases;

I just grasped what you said here and found the “Narrow from C1” mapping setting location. I’ll post a pic in case anyone else didn’t get it. Opal base note value needed to be brought down to C3, but then it mapped much more cleanly left to right as I’d expect.

Thanks for explaining that!

I’d also like to thank you for pointing out the ‘narrow from C1’ mapping, it’s what I was missing when I used the demo.

Nothing stopping me from buying now!

Don’t think it’s been mentioned around these parts yet but the annual NI Sound of Summer sale kicked off yesterday - 50% of updates/upgrades. Time to update to 14 then…

basically means getting Kontakt 7 for $99. otherwise i don’t think it adds much of note to Komplete bundle.

Depends on which previous version you have. I’m still on 10 so this adds some fun stuff for me.

yeah, that’s the way to do it… skip a few years between upgrades and wait for the big sale.

Yup, will finally get Komplete Standard Upgrade for 199€… only buy NI and Arturia during sales…

This substantial discount seems worth reposting in this SW Deals topic:

dammit missed that $14 ssl strip deal :confounded:

They usually cycle their deals, so it may well come back at some point.
