Superbooth 2026

I think people have seen the success of the m8 and want to make alternatives, which is awesome. A lot of folks love the m8 but don’t click with the tracker workflow. So this could end up being a very cool market.

That twisted electrons thing I suspect is a drum machine. Who knows, but having individual outs on the back is a win. More of these small groove box makers should take note. It’s really nice to have the option to split out some sounds into a mixer without having to fiddle with usb audio.

discounted to $899 if you pre-order via their Kickstarter:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/buchla/ziggy-a-new-instrument-from-buchla/description

it does not, according to specs currently available. you maybe could use the “game” modulation sources as a pseudo-sequencer/trigger though.

Nice. I didn’t realize Buchla had used Kickstarter previously to fund development.

The Nonlinear Labs C25 looks really nice, with good access built in to a range of synthesis engines, and what sounds like, from the description, a polyphonic aftertouch keybed.

I wonder how much it will be. I’m keen even if I don’t need it.

When you click pre-order on their site this is contained in a text pop up

499 € incl. VAT — preorders open soon, no payment required.”

anyone else see the Polyend Drum video on YouTube? seems like it was made private. lots of knobs, step sequencer, faders and multiple outs on the back. casing looked like it could be metal too. Polyend T-1000 haha

oh I didn’t scroll down far enough haha thanks.

I’m curious about the Plinky12 chords, seeing it at scale next to other devices left me shocked how big it is compared to the v3. I have no experience with them, and don’t have a clue what I’d expect it to cost.
