Stuggling with the data storage on A4

I just upgraded my A4 to the newest operating system and am quite excited about the new storage space. However, I am struggling a little with understanding how the sounds are stored. I understand sounds are saved in a “Pool” or on the “+Drive” It appears factory sounds consume all of the A and B slots on the +Drive. Looking forward to exploring those sounds. However, I have a lot of other sounds that I downloaded from Elektron’s site and was able to easily upload them into the A4 before this latest OS upgrade with C6. I am uncertain on how to load these sounds into banks C through P. Can someone step me through the process?

Thank you!

Joe

Actually, I just figured it out. Oddly, you need to go to the Global menu, sysex dump, and then sysex receive. You can choose “anywhere” and it will place the sounds you send from C6 in any available slots or you can choose a particular bank and load the sounds in that bank. Its simple but seems odd that you can’t do that from the Sounds menu.

Anyway, hopefully this helps anyone looking to load sounds into their A4.

Thanks

Joe
