Hi guys, I’ve got a bit of an annoying issue sampling USB audio from synths on my ipad (in Aum). It seems audio coming from Digitakt 2 tracks also get recorded when sampling. What’s really wierd is the kickdrum didn’t make it into the resampled audio (I bypassed it from being routed to the compressor).
I attached a video of what’s happening and the settings on digitakt. Anyone know how to fix this?
Also here are the settings in Aum.
Did you already try disabling all tracks in that route to main section of the digitakt? I assume that’s the problem, but I don’t know, I’ve never tried it.
If it’s catching that audio on the sample recorder, it seems like the solution is to divert that audio by not allowing it to reach the main.

I’ll give this a try and let you know, thanks for the suggestion. I had assumed it’s not doing that since I didn’t hear any sounds being played twice but could be they were too quiet to notice coming from the ipad.
It’s still kind of odd though that the kick didn’t make it into the resampled audio, can’t figure out why, it’s bypassing the compressor so that definitely has something to do with it.

I’m not sure honestly. Let me know what happens and I’m sure we can figure it out. I might not be able to respond immediately but I’ll do what I can.
Definitely sounds like you need to disable something in the menu, just not sure what right now. I haven’t heard about this issue specifically, but at the moment I assume it has something to do with routing and sounds like it’s whatever is coming from the compressor is being sampled so are you sending audio via USB as well as receiving?
You probably need to disable the audio going out to USB otherwise it’s going to loop back via the USB, which is the source that you’re currently recording. Just making a wild guess though.
