Sticking with the OG Digitakt?

Have you figured Out how though? The Updated Manual doesn’t seem to tell. I thought it would be like holding TRK and then left/right but that’s not it.

Thx!

TRIG + L/R Arrow is for a single trig
FUNC + TRIG + L/R Arrow is for ALL trigs

A year back I thought I was preferring the shiny new(ish) DT2 over the OG but sticking with the OG DN.

It has completely flipped around now. I get more pleasure and feel more creative with the DT1 limitations than the DT2 possibilities. It’s pretty much 100% percussion and loops that I use it for, with a DN2 (and other synths) taking care of the rest.

I was getting option paralysis with the multiple filters and extra machines of the DT2. I’ve always been more of a synthesis person than a sample person, so I need to keep the sample side of things manageable, which I find easier on the OG.

8 tracks of samples is all I really need for what I do and, again, the limitation of the 4 bars is something I’ve become so comfortable with since my first MD and A4.

The older I get, the more I realise that I want my instruments to be fun and comfortable to use. The DT2 was feeling like work and the OG feels like play.
