I just had a cool startup Easter egg appear on my Digitone 2. It was like a face that was dissolving from right to left.
I obviously thought there was an issue as to start with it was hard to identify the face. It lasted for what felt like 10 seconds or more.
Has anyone had this? It was very cool!

Thanks. I didn’t associate the face on the DII with the vid because I only caught the image out of the corner of my eye. I was struggling to grab my phone to take a pic, but missed the chance!
It doesn’t look like the yngwie that I remember either. They really used a bad picture of him like how he looks now and not how he looked in his prime.
The only reason people were able to associate it with him is that I guess he famously tells this story in a lot of interviews about “more is more”.
I thought that it looked more like Glenn Danzig

Guys, everyone I ask tells me its the more is more thing. This is not what I had on mine!! I’m reaching out to Elektron to ask them.
Yeah, come to think of it, I don’t think this is what I saw, either.
It was more of a “ghostly” face, no Elektron logos or slogans. It disintegrated off the side of the screen, then booted as normal.
I think it might be different on DNII vs. DTII.

Exactly! No words. Like a mist that was glitching the entire screen, long enough for me to think it was faulty. Then it was like a wind blowing the grains away and if I remember correctly a face was hidden amongst the grains. It all blew away to the left.
It was a while ago now so can’t remember perfectly.
