Start playback of a song by external midi

Hi,

If I have a song ready in the Digitakt, is it possible to start it with an external sequencer ?
By a midi message for example. I would like that the song in the digitakt be playing in sync with another sequencer.

I haven’t a digitakt yet, but I would like to be sure of this point before bying one

Naturally, you may start/stop/pause the Digitakt with common-or-garden midi transport messages and also control its tempo if desired. You would have to cue up your song though, otherwise it would play the current pattern.
