Definetly. I really didnt gel with the akai products but integration with hardware is much better than on te M+

Can the arp feature be used with an external midi kbd? I couldn t.

Yes, that is possible.
I would like to add that if you meant it the other way around, i.e. use an external synth to trigger the arp on the M+, then unfortunately the answer would be no.
I don’t want to rule out that this could be possible with an NI keyboard aka S88, M32 etc. But unfortunately I don’t have it to test it.

Had an MPC Live before I got the Maschine + and the Live is much better with external synths as you can easily do program and bank changes. The Live is better with your own sample library as well unless you want to tag all your samples in the Maschine. But having said that I never used my Live again once I got the Maschine. I absolutely love the workflow and have made more music with the Maschine + than anything else I have.

I asked for my cashback on 20-12-2022, but have not seen any communication after receiving the confirmation mail.
This is pretty ridiculous. I’m going to start hassling them.

so, in theory, you should get it til march 20. From what i read in my email, no communication after the confirmation email could be a good thing since they said they will contact you IF there is a problem with your demand. I contacted after sale, just to see what they have to say and will report when i get answer

Somebody said that Pyramid has the same way of working the sequencer and arrangement as Maschine. Does anyone know if this is the case?
They are both step sequencers with piano rolls. Maschine is infinitely easier to edit…On the other side pyramid has euclidean, midi fx etc…
