Song mode with infinite master length

Hello!

Is it possible to use song mode while in advanced page / scale mode and having an infinite master length? I have different pattern lengths so I have set the mode to advanced and have an infinite master length with a master change length of 16 steps. I would think that song mode would work by using the master change length of 16 steps, but it doesn’t seem to work. It never switches pattern when in song mode. If I change to basic mode where all patterns are the same length, song mode works properly. This is not what I want though since I need my patterns to be different lengths.

Any ideas?

Maybe calculate the the lowest common multiple of both tracks and set this as master length is an option?

Yeah I guess that’s an option! Though it’s much more intuitive for me at least if the number of repeats in song mode refer to 16 steps instead of say, 64. I feel like this “feature” makes song mode a bit less useful.
