"Song mode" Digitakt

No songmode, what's a nice solution? (digitakt + digitone)

I’m thinking about a setup with only the Digitakt and Digitone. Unfortunately both machines don’t have a song mode. The goal is to create complete songs with the two machines and be able to recall them at any given moment. What would be a great solution for this? (has to be something not too big and can’t be a computer.)

Solutions for implementing "Song Mode"

I’ve only had it for a week now and I love this thing. I initially got it to be a basic drum machine for practicing with, some simple sampling - nothing complicated. After playing around with the MIDI sequencing, I realized I could use this as a full fledged “brain” for live performances and allow me to pursue my solo project.
