I don’t know what I am doing wrong but every single time I go to splice a sample it NEVER plays back the whole thing, it usually just repeats the first slice and it’s driving me up the wall.
I have read the menu and looked at posts on here but I still can’t figure out what I am doing wrong. I have Slice and Length both set to on, slice the sample using the grid slice and then apply linear locks but still I cahttps://www.elektronauts.com/c/elektron-gear/octatrackn’t get it to work. Am I missing something?
I have perhaps missed something but as of now I am fed up trying to get it to work
Did you create slices grid in audio editor ?
Do you change Start values ?
Edit : ok you want to use linear locks.
Place enough trigs before, corresponding to number of slices.
Check if Start/Slice is plocked to scenes or lfo dest.
I seem to be able to do it when I place the triggers manually then go through and manually assign a different start value to each trigger but I was under the impression that the linear locks option did this for you?
I will start a new project, perhaps something buggy is going on with this one.
Yes, if you place the corresponding trigs before.
For each trig, there is a +1 increment for Slice #.
If you have more trigs than slices, it starts again from 1, which means you can have a 32 slices loop twice with 64 steps.
