[Solved] Sysex backup with C6 taking ages

Hello everyone,

Before upgrading the OS to v1.08, I decided to backup my projects using C6 and sysex dump.
For each project, it’s taking about 30 minutes.
Is this a normal behavior or is there something wrong going on?

You have to set MIDI through “USB only” both for IN and OUT.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I had selected USB only, but didn’t know it was an option that changes with each project and that I had to select it every time. I thought this was a global option. I’m not sure if this is mentioned in the manual, I’ve read it but it might have escaped me somehow.

Anyway, thank you very much, you saved me a lot of time.

Global option like midi channels, midi output mode, transport and clock sync options, etc are saved on a per project basis.
