[SOLVED?] sound level rand. changing - L/R channels

there is a problem - signal level in one of the channelsof the Main Output varies randomly. it’s about 5 db. sometimes returns to normal but sometimes it takes a long time this anomaly. it’s very strange and i don’t know where to look to solve this problem. it happens every session, different projects etc. of course i have already changed / checked cables, mixing console inputs etc. there is no LFO at the main.

is it an output problem? CF card? have you ever had this kind of issue? before i will send it to Elektron i would like to solve it by myself…

what happens if you hard pan everything ?

Sounds similar to the headphone out issue that some people (including me) have had, except in that case the other channel went out completely and it was from the headphone output only.

In my case, I was able to temporarily bring the sound back by having a compressor on the master track and boosting the gain a lot, see if it helps.

Does it still happen if you create a new project?

If yes, contact Support.
If no, then it might be something within the project (setting, bug or whatever). If you can´t get it resolved, contact Support.

Edit:
I saw now that you wrote “every session, different projects” and assume that it includes new projects as well.

Do you have any MIDI sending CC values for level or something?

hi guys, thanks a lot for your answers and willing to help.

miketheman - since i have edited a live project and save a versions as a new - yes, it occurs in every project.

i don’r think it’s because of a certain sound sample. this balance issue sounds very clear with the kick / mono or stereo. i have changed the kicks and it occurs as well.

no any MIDI CC values for level or something. this project just send a midi clock to the another machine.

i will make a clear new project and will confirm the problem but i think it does not change anything…:frowning:

Ok, i think i have solved a problem and found something that could possibly cause this problem.

I have found a triggers placed on Master track…

After delete them a problem gone. I think so, or maybe it’s just a coincidence?
Anyway, i had triggers that left after i’ve changed track 8 to be a master.

Do you think this could make a mess?
