[solved] One project only - no audio + can't change audio machine settings?

Howdy folks,

I have a MK 1 with OS 1.25H and I have seem to have got one of my projects in a weird state, where

  • midi sequencer works as normal, BUT
  • I can set sample trigs but I can’t hear anything
  • I can see from the AB + CD lights that audio is going in, but neither THRU machines or DIR mod makes any noise
  • turning the LEVEL knob, or the data entry knobs on any of the PLAYBACK/AMP/LFO/EFFECT 1/EFFECT 2 screens don’t do anything (although they work fine on other screens)

I ran the ‘early startup menu’ test and it said all OK, and my other projects all seem fine, so I figure I have done something to just this one project - not sure if it’s a bug or some unknown (to me) option I enabled by mistake?

Anyone seen this before?

Check Mixer page if there’s something soloed.
Check Project Menu > Midi > Control if CC and Notes are set to INT, or INT+EXT.

It was the MIDI settings, I had CC and Notes both set to ‘EXT’ only

What about audio ?

yeah once I set the CC and Notes to be EXT+INT, I could ocne again edit paramaters and hear the samples being triggered
