With the parameter addition in the 1.40 update, I would like to map it on the external controller, but the CC message isn’t available in the manual. Only Pan on FX amp page or Pan on track page.
Is it hidden somewhere or really unavailable? It feels weird to me that a parameter nested in the FX page this useful wouldn’t get CC message…
The CC code would normally be specific to the hardware that is being controlled. For example, a Korg Volca Nubass has a midi map that gives CC values for things that can be controlled such as accent or resonance that are specific to that device. So, look in the manual of your external controller then select those values for what you want to control.
i think the OP understands that and is trying to map a syntakt parameter to a external controller. (on the fx track its on page 2 of filter tab, controlled with encoder E ) . the external controller needs the relevant midi cc / nrpn from the syntakt manual … not the other way around …
fx track midi cc’s are on page 118 in the syntakt manual , but no ‘filter pan’ midi cc is in the chart for the filter secion …
I’d assume as its a new parameter , either there is no midi cc or it hasnt been updated in the manual yet (or both)
its also missing from the LFO destination list for fx track filter section but it is in the actual list of destinatioins on the device (so the manual is basically out of date)
its missing on your page too.
it should be in ANALOG FX: FILTER section.

I have also tried to ‘MIDI learn’ it, but no success, so it really is probably missing.
Midi monitoring fx track filter freq knob in cubase says controller CC 70 and so on
When I do this with the fpan knob i dont recieve a cc or NRPN number
Strange because in OB its changes when I turn the knob on the ST
Please report as a bug to Elektron, if you haven’t already.
This is addressed in the new firmware update 1.40A, and the value is in the updated manual.
It’s CC 93.
