filling up the ot with heaps of pieces for a live show…on friday.
and hey, i get along not so bad…
but is there any chance, that the slot samples don’t constantly already be there if i change over to a next virgin part…
i’d love to have clean tracks if i set up a new part sample setting…
but what’s in the slots already sneaks in and is messing around all over the place with no sense to follow…
and is there any other way to clear a track apart from the option in audio editor which is cleaning out the whole slot…
i just need blank tracks, each time i prepare a new part…possible?
The default Part for each pattern in a bank is Part 1. So you could try not using Part 1 until you’ve used the others OR just copy from a blank part and paste into the part that you want to initialise.

another night and it came to me…it’s these first eight slots, first part thing…
hard to find out…can’t read this file names without glasses i’m afraid…
even if i got me a straight naming system prepared…
damn…i can play in front of two thousand seats with no problem…
but this damend club show premiere on friday is freaking me out…
maybe that’s what i bought the ot for…for having stage fright again, finally…
first thing i’ve learned by now…
stop thinking and just play and perform…
if i try to make sense, i fuck it up…if i just fool around…it’s a beauty…
and hey, just in case you ot pro’s had not found out yet…don’t think so, but anyway…if you select more patterns at once to play, ot is chaining them up…no word in the manual about that…but discovering that last night, was finally the moment when ot and i became friends…
I’d also prefer it if new banks would just have blank tracks / no machines assigned. Not using slots 1-8 is a solution but at the same time you lose 8 slots just because of this.
