I had this OT paired with my akai s5000. The akai would play melodic pads. Is there a trick to playing a bit longer samples say 10 to 15 seconds longer here is my isuue.

I side chain my drums. That takes 2 to 3 tracks depending. My bass is midi using a moog minitaur.

So lets say I create 4 patterns. In which I play live guitar. After a few patterns I soon run out of tracks to play more varied melodic samples. I know there is a work around?

Should i side chain these pads or are there other options?

I hope this makes sense. With my s5000 it was just as simple as changing a multi group.

I find I learn better on the OT when there is a feature I’d like instead of learning every function.

So you record and play guitar sections on different tracks?
Do you use Sample Locks ?
It allows you to play different samples on the same track.

There is also resampling possibility. I send tracks I want to record to CUE and record CUE for that.

I guess you’re talking about sample chains.
