You can, You just have to create the slice on a new space but then you can change the start point to wherever you want

Yeah ,its just awkward if samples have been trimmed and sliced already.
I normally create slice grid then delete ones I don’t want and move what’s left to where I want it. I agree it’s painful. I wish it would slice via transients like every other slicer in the world.
