Do you have desserts for the other days of the week too, like Tuesdae?
Wow, that is a pretty cool view.
Thanks. ![]()
Folks may have grown tired of it as I’ve posted it prior but without the Elektron inspired mobile rig I’m building. Really excited to be able to go full Digi anywhere in and outside of my static studio space now. The Digi combo is really a great self contained workstation with the ability to expand sound sources to sample/layer.
On the next sunny day, I’ll wheel it up to the rooftop to test it for full battery live performance outside to see how long it can go with heat/sun beaming down.
I could never grow tired of that view! It’s fantastic!
Lonely 404 all by itself!
I know right?lol.
Thing is, as much as I’m growing to love Digitakt….it really just reminds me of how brilliant SP is. Worlds apart in regard to all things related to sampling so everytime Id get frustrated with what DT can’t do, I return to SPs warm embrace. Had to remove it from the chain for now.
I guess I’m betting on Elektron bridging the gap sooner than later. I want to really give learning the combo a go because if they can get DT2 slicing up to speed, the Digi combo will be my dream workstation. Then I’ll bring SP back for DJ Mode/Performance fx etc.
There’s nothing like taking a boring photo with depth of field from the balcony, carefully edited and posting it here ![]()
Now THAT is beautiful. What a sight. I would never that spot at night, except to sleep. Beautiful view.
It rains sometimes in Pasadena, California. South Grand area, near Norton Simon museum.
From the kitchen window, backyard.
Just want to continue to express my gratitude to the OP and everyone who contributes to this amazing thread.
It’s truly my favorite place on the webs these days.
Instant source of perspective, grounding and a reminder that my POV is just a grain of sand on the beach which is liberating and very necessary in these times.
I need a window like yours.
Well, as @Phillip said, «my eyes are my window». So I can’t give you it. But, I guess you already have your own, and there is plenty of framing to be done. ![]()
There has been snow in Tokyo (but it’s not cold enough to stick to the ground) for the last few days. This view was from the restaurant floor of a tower on the far south edge of Shibuya.
