I’m starting to work more with Ableton to understand how it all works, it’s very hard for me but I’m having a blast.
Arrangement is still something I very much struggle with, as well as resampling, adding texture and atmosphere, but I like how this one turned out:
Released my first mallsoft project featuring some remixes and weird synth muzak.
Its a bit unorthodox for the genre as I don’t really have the hang of it yet, but thought I’d still share.
live recording of a set i played at a house show for a bunch of college kids. crude and glitchy 160bpm aural freneticism. digitone, rytm, octa. some ‘mastering’ done in ableton afterwards. enjoy!
Over the last few years I’ve went through a lot of wonderful gear. I miss it n stuff but switching to Ableton was a great idea. I always thought the lack of “hands on” control would make things less emotion based, but I was absolutely wrong. I took me 4 hours to come up with this one. I still need to work on my mixing though
