This is my newest project. 5 songwriter tracks and 4 instrumentals.
It’s been a while, and a lot has happened along the way, but we are finally back. We’re still standing. This double single is pure, raw sound and proof that the Zennyo journey continues. Thanks for still being on the other side of the amp. Crank up the volume for “This is Mickey” and “TAP Práxedes.”

This has a little bit of a dreamy 70s / retro pop rock vibe

Nothing better than a little bit of free time to record on your birthday.
2nd single from my band’s forthcoming LP out today.
Project is a bit of a melting pot, a former post-rock band that’s since found ‘song’ and conciseness.
I play guitar.
A patient, midwest emo-tinged one this: Deer Leader - Lark Ascending (feat. Michael Timmons)
Album out on vinyl/CD/digital in November: Deer Leader - The Bluebirds of Happiness (Pre-order)

Four improvisations for baritone ukulele (they get progressively jazzier)
My choir released an album with a jazz trio, let me share my favourite song:
I don’t think I’ve shared this album on here, but this is an album I made with my bandmates back in 2011 that got a fair amount of acclaim. NPR named it one of the 5 best self-released albums of the year. Fun times. It paved the way for the direction I eventually went, which was to start using microsamples as a major compositional element. The cover art is a double exposed photo I took in NYC with a Diana camera.
That’s me in the bass.
