Very good, there’s a Starflyer 59 vibe to it (the sound of the guitars I suppose).
I enjoyed it very much

Just a Telecaster into a clean amp.

Sound so very good and so simple. I’m amazed how people play so well guitar. Well done!

Thanks for the listen my friend :+1:

Also in a very shoegaze-influenced style, here’s one of mine:

I made a new metal track, lots of synths. A little cheesy!

That’s great man. The last 30 seconds where the vocals start twisting and the sound of the recording space becomes more prominent is really beautiful stuff. I’ve never heard the original song but I thought she did quite a nice job and your studio always sounds great.

Wonderful to see you encouraging her in her music and recording too!

Can I ask which vocal preamp and compressor you’re using on this? Sounds like a tube preamp. Very velvety smooth.

An Imposter

This is a ‘field opera’, aka: musical for those who don’t like musicals.
Recorded live (in a studio): vocals, drums, piano, bass. No overdubs.

You’re very kind, my friend! I agree with you about the last part of the song, it really grabbed me in a powerful way - proud dad :slightly_smiling_face:.

So, the piano is tracked through the TL Audio Fat track mixer with a lot of tube setting. Vocals use the Midas Venice 320’s own preamp with a light dose of Klark Teknik Dimension D clone and on the mixbus there’s a bit of SSL Fusion, Behringer 369 (as insert in the Fusion) and AH.

It’s been a while and I remember having heard good things over here.
Here is a not-so-not-electronic piece of music, pretext for a call to contributions.

A not so serious Christmas song I made with a close friend. We haven’t been hanging out much recent years and I almost feared we might slowly drift apart but recording this and having great fun with it felt just like old times, merry christmas!
(it is in swedish, sorry about that lol!)
