Recently, I’ve been hearing some very good Patches from the DN II. I think it could be nice to have a thread to share your work. So, if you want to share your Patches with an Audio example and your .dn2pst files, this is the place. Thanks in advance for taking the time to do it and sharing your experimentations.
Great idea!
You might need to specify .dnsnd files for the time being—I don’t think .syx files currently work, or, I wasn’t able to load the killer acid patch myhrman had very kindly shared here:
Fixed. Thanks for this. I’m always confused about the sharing format.

Merci @sezare56!

Very nice Patch and playing!
Thank you!
Here’s the flute sound so far. It should have more air sound I think and it sounds best in the normal flute frequency range. It has some aliasing artefacts when played at high pitches and I had to make it polyphonic since there’s another unwanted sound when played monophonically. It’s made with FM Tone but maybe FM Drum is better since it has separate noise.
FLUTE BASIC 2.dn2pst (659 Bytes)
Bookmarking this thread because I have a few things I want to add to my own preset libraries. WIP on a panflute:
Will share the patch when I feel satisfied with it (I’m sure others can improve or use it as a base)
This is my attempt at making an acoustic kickdrum with the comb filter. I guess it kind of sounds like one? Maybe adding some noise and operators might bring it closer. In either case I’m amazed how versatile digitone 2 is and that percussion like this can be done with a comb filter, it’s like a swiss army knife of sound design ![]()
Here’s the preset without keyfollow
BD ACOUSTIC.dn2pst (667 Bytes)
With keyflow:
BD ACOUST A#3.dn2pst (662 Bytes)
Added some velocity modulation on various parameters, really hope it gets saved as part of the patch
Do you still have that patch lying around for sharing by any chance? Sounds dope ![]()
Yes: PANFLETTE DZ.dn2pst (625 Bytes)
Consideration to note if using aftertouch, is to modulate the amount of vibrato. I have left it open for programming here, assuming standard use case over the built in keyboard.
Thanks a lot! ![]()
