Is it hard to replace the knobs to those gold knobs? Do you need to open the machine up, or can you just pull out the original knobs to replace them? And which knobs are these? I’m really tempted to do something similar.

Needed a temporary travel solution for my takt boxes and ended up using a Nintendo switch box and some styrofoam to make this . Perfectly snug fit, hopefully survives being tossed around in the luggage. The top and bottom are lined with bubble wrap.

Anyone know if styrofoam would leave rub marks on the digitone?
