Thats awesome!
Ive seen prismatic clouds before too. I asked my science teacher about it and he told me to stop getting so high, which was a fair observation on his part, but he was hip…he knew what was up.
anyways… beautiful pic!
I saw this at a friend’s birthday party when I was 6 and I was scared of Mac because I was a pathetic little runt. Nothing about this scene is ringing any bells at all.
Nice. What is your process after printing out, for defacing/ripping up the pics? Also, why you are not an artist? I think u are… You have an aesthetic sensibility and you create unique things from nothing with intention…
This combo made me miss seeing rjd2 play when I was in college. I was certainly no lightweight at the time and figured it wouldn’t be a problem to share a bottle of each with a friend, but then I woke up freezing in my other friend’s car at 4am, drove back to my college town, and then into the highway median after trying to get a piece of pizza out of the box on the passenger floor. The next day my friend told me I pissed in a vestibule at the college where rjd2 was playing, insisted on stopping at an adult store off the highway on the way home from the show where I tried to stuff a bunch of items into my friend’s girlfriend’s coat to steal, and then refused to get out of the car when we got back to his girlfriend’s house. I have not had thunderbird or night train since and haven’t had any nights like that either
Hey thanks, I guess I just don’t really feel comfortable calling myself an artist haha.
I print my photos out on crappy papper rip them up and glue to a black peice of paper then I like to smear paint on it or draw random symbols and crap. Take a photo of the finished piece and edit the colours a bit to make it pop.
Something very interesting to me about the process of moving back and forth from digital to physical, like I have made the thing but it doesn’t feel done untill its digital again. Not sure if that makes sense hahah
There are different shades of artist.
Professional artists make a life out of it.
You got the intellectual bunch that insist a story must either guide or retrospectively explain what’s been done.
And the passionate that do because they must.
These groups are not exclusive and the list not exhaustive.
Your work very much looks like art to me ^^
