Just man like Hype rinsing proper in ‘93

TIL that Jeff Mill’s Axis Records runs a free, digital magazine about the people behind the creation of electronic music.

From the description on Axis Records’ website:

“…nothing has proven to be more vital than the creation of Music itself. Since the form of Electronic Music that we recognize today began in the mid-1980s, it has been my personal view that as an industry that specializes in such, there is still too little attention to the art of the creation…

…We’re ready to examine and explore all that revolves around the mechanics of creativity. Subjects that at first glance, may not appear to be influential to what you hear, but are in fact, primary reasons that had help fuel many creative efforts by many Electronic Musicians and artists for decades.”

This seems to me this would resonate with a larger sample of this forum’s members.

I borrowed my A4 to a friend and yesterday got it back. I paired it with the AR and holy shit how well these instruments complement each other. There is no dedicated thread for this pair (although there should be) so I share this here. Just instant music pouring out from these devices. I feel so grateful and happy to finally click with electronic instruments like this.

I’ve been a bit (in fact very) anxious trying to determine what to play live in couple of months but now all of a sudden all that stress vanished. I love Elektron so much.

(I’m not blowing up his spot, it’s already been written about in AP News Volunteers turn a fan's recordings of 10,000 concerts into an online treasure trove)
