Listen i love all sorts of art, go to the museum like literally on a regular basis, buy/read artsy books etc. But I am always speechless when something like this happens.

It dawned on me this week that my GAS has completely subsided. I do read the new gear threads but I come away thinking my ‘X’ can do that or close enough, or that’s cool but not where I’m headed. Having fun and learning more about what I already have.

Just discovering the BBC micro had sequencing software…!? Any heads on here use UMI?
I’ve always found something really satisfying about the sequence timing on those classic erasure records.

lost a kit today on the rytm. turned it on and it was not there. the pattern left but the kit is gone.
really sad. it was a good kit.
at least I recorded last night so the memory remains. space jazz will live forever.
rip kit 105, you were not like the other kits, you were one of a kind and you will be missed.

Aww no, I feel for you. Happened to me a couple of times. Rather prone to user error losses as well. Eats away at your confidence in the device after a while. Amazing machine though. And all the more reason to get things recorded and/or backed up as regularly as poss
I lost couple of times kits that weren’t saved, but that’s no biggie, this time I saved the kit 100% but it was still gone 
I don’t have the usb connected all the time because for some unknown reason I’ve had kits reset when opening Live and having the usb connected, so I usually back up between banks -ish, but I definitely saved it thinking no way I’m going to lose it…

Heard I Feel For You by Rufus & Chaka Khan today and it reminded me of Prince’s demo that was released 4 or 5 years ago. The man was a genius.
