This looks interesting. Not sure if it’s a viable alternative to AUM for iOS. It’s available on MacOS too.

I already feel slightly overwhelmed choosing between AUM, Loopy Pro, and Drambo (not to mention SAND, which I haven’t explorer properly), so I’m hesitant to buy another, but this does look very nice and being cross-platform could make all the difference. Especially given there’s no been no news about the Mac version or Loopy Pro for a while.

I’ve got all of the hosts you mention but only typically use AUM as don’t generally flow with the others. Sessions Pro does seem super straight forward from the quick play I had with it last night.
There is a demo version for MacOS if you wish to trial it

These all seems to be quite dated looking in terms of UI and not iOS compatible. I’d say SP is much more slick and modern in terms of its usability.
Both Loopy Pro and Drambo take a bit of getting used to (i.e. follow a good video tutorial) but are both very powerful and flexible. We iPad music tinkerers are blessed these days!

I’ve never given Drambo enough time to develop a good understanding of the workflow, but heard it’s excellent. I have used LP quite a bit. It’s decent but the UI is a bit too cluttered for my liking.
It’s like that sometimes with iOS apps - they can be a bit hit and miss in terms of UI workflow.
I’ve got too many iOS apps and probably only use 10% of them!
This looks like the perfect new playground for scaler 3 and all of my iPadOS synth shenanigans.
Never loved using Drambo, AUM or Loopy despite them all being really great apps.

Maybe a dumb question but I’m not clear on this after reviewing the site. I see you can add backing tracks and also record your mix (automatically), but can you record and process individual audio tracks? If I connect a multi-channel interface, can I record and process per interface channel?

This has been out for a while. Now with the last update they finally added midi fx support and it became useful for me since you’re able to actually sequence stuff. I have to say I like it, but it’s quite resource intensive. It crackled to a stop when i added a second track on my ipad pro 2018. I did go quite hard on the first track with fx and whatnot, though.
Yeah, i saw it seems to be on version 9 now.
I’m using an iPad Pro M4 and it doesn’t have any trouble. Probably time for a new ipad - the Air is pretty reasonably priced and has the M4 cpu now.
Sessions Pro latest update has it now firmly in the essential tools folders on both my iPad and Mac right beside Scaler 3.
Insane value for $20 and easily replaces AUM and MainStage. Very similar to Drambo minus the sequencer and over complicated (to me) UI which I don’t need as my MPC handles all of that.
If you use Scaler 3 check out this video. Keep in mind SP has rock solid clock sync and Ableton Link so you can use external controllers, synths, grooveboxes to control transport and all of the parameters, macros, etc.
