This could be the one! The one I’ve been waiting for!
I do like the fact that the presets are organized by bank / category. Wish the Take 5 did that.
Sounds like a Behringer Wasp.
Reportedly it’s Pro-One inspired.
I think this synth is a ploy to bring ppl to the Sequential Forums…
This release hopefully makes used Pro2s more available in the used market.
reading the title of this thread I thought it was a typo and was a post about an online forum for the Sequential brand ![]()
they’re very different synths but maybe.
don’t think ill be selling mine.
Most likely 256 factory (non-rewritable) + 256 for user presets (after checking the manual).
The anti-theft lock port wouldn’t make sense with only 128 slots.
What thief would steal a synth with 128 memory slots?
I just got the joke . Brilliant lol.!
I do like the sound of this and the price is great, and it sounds miles better than the messenger to me
Not four me.
I’ll take PolyAT/MPE support for P5 rev 4 thanks, I dont need a new synth ![]()
(hmm I think it already has PolyAT? But can we get MPE as well pls)
I think this is neat, but I don’t think I need it myself.
I dunno about that, I had a pro2 and it seemed like an entirely different sort of thing from this.
way too big for my taste.
looking at it i thought about buying another spare Tetra.
Same, if I was still regularly playing in a band and gigging, I‘d either get this or the Messenger. I think it’s neat that those two companies that used to be extremely exclusive (with only huge and expensive synths) are offering cheaper, smaller and more limited synths now. I‘m still surprised it took a decade or so after the Minilogue for this to happen. I think I‘d still prefer the Messenger.
This just happened to me. I just tried to preorder it and ended up signing up for the Sequential forum instead. It’s a decent forum, so I’m not even sure I need the synth anymore.
Yep, very odd name choice. Glad to see poly AT keybed though.
Messenger is cool but if you need chords it’s not on the table as an option. I don’t find them to be particularly comparable, but they are both rad.
