I was wondering if anyone has done this, the chord at seem quite nice for chord progressions and im wondering if anyone has tried it?
I haven’t sequenced a digitone with it as I don’t own one but i’m sure you’d get some cool results with it, it’s a pretty straightforward idea. You’d probably want to record the chords into the DN and then go from there. The MIDI out is pretty straightforward, I’ve piped it into Ableton a few times and then dragged the chords into an Expressive Chords device to play them there. The only issue you might run into is the voice limit on the DN1 as some of the chords the chordcat makes are pretty dense, wouldn’t be an issue on the DN2.
