I have an Analog Four mkII and I’m thinking about maybe adding an Elektron sampler as well (the Octatrack or the Digitakt). One thing I’m wondering though is how responsive the two machines will be when it comes to program change. I like to use the Direct Jump feature on my Analog Four when switching patterns, but unfortunately my other device, the OP-Z from Teenage Engineering, doesn’t keep up with these changes.
Rather, it seems like the new program change isn’t sent out until after the completion of the full cycle of the original pattern. I guess this would be the case even if I hooked up my Analog Four with another Elektron device, right? Or maybe Digitakt or Octatrack has some feature that makes this possible?
