Does this issue seem to only be with DT2 and not the DN2?
It happened to my DN2 - I think mine was the only known one online though (lucky me!). It was fixed in Feb. and hasn’t come back yet.

It’s all the OLED screens. Even Syntakt.
I returned my first digitakt 2 due to a faulty screen and waited a good while till I bought another hoping that the screen issue would be solved but this is the second time my screen has gone bad.
Can they replace it with a yellow screen? Or must we replace the screen every year?
Has anyone had to send their dt for repair in Australia? Just wondering how long it might take?

Had my screen replaced recently in melbourne. They did it in under 48hrs, i dropped it off and picked it up myself rather than shipping but you dont need to worry about it being a slow process, group technologies is making very fast turn arounds on repairs, I think this being a common issue theyre keeping replacement screens in stock so theres no waiting around for parts to arrive.
Just book it in and get it fixed mate.

My Digitakt II just started displaying the faulty screen, after purchasing it in May 2024. Issue is I live in Cape Town. Bought the unit from Thomann. I’ve reached out to Elektron support. Do you know if they would pay for the shipping in this case? It’s obviously still under 3 year warranty. But living this far away makes it expensive to ship 
Got mine back after the second time the screen issue was happening. Fingers crossed that this time the screen stays working.
I’m starting to think the reason why white screen units are so expensive compared to the OG yellow screen ones is, they include a cost of a few free screen replacements

Don’t keep the plastic on the screen. If you keep it on for too long, you’ll end up with a smudge on the surface that will not go away, no matter how many times you try to clean it.
Finally got my Digitakt II back after sending back to Thomann. They paid for shipping and repair was covered, by warranty although was a bit of a pain to avoid paying duties on it again upon return. 5 weeks from when I shipped it back to them, and back to Cape Town. Super impressed!

I wonder if it’s an indicator that their repair stock only has bad ones left in it. I sincerely hope not, but

That’s insane to happen on a single device. Wish they could be replaced with an old school lcd one, those are virtually immortal.
