I’ve gone both ways, outcome was the same. I made unfinished shit music that annoyed the family and made my cats hate me!

Given the longevity of plastic vs the longevity of human beings, it will end up in a landfill, or more likely in the ocean, either way.

Always take it off. I bought a used Iridium that had the screen protector on it. It took a few days to clean off all of the adhesive that was stuck to the screen from being used for a year or two with the screen protector on it.
