i want to send from Track 1 a loop to an effects device - for this i’m using the cue-level to send to the device
the device returns it sound via an Thru Machine on track2 (Input CD)
i’m looking now for a way to blend between the sounds from Track 1 and 2 via the crossfader
when i set a scene-lock one the master-level of Track 1 it also fades of the Cue-Level on Track wich results in silence
is there a way to only lock the Master-Level or any other smart way of blending between the sound of track 1 and 2 ?
are you using XVOL or XLEV? XLEV shouldn’t affect cue level, if I’m remembering it correctly. are you in studio mode?
is the fx unit causing latency? delay compensate only makes up for the OT’s processing, would be nice to have more control over that… you can also try using XDIR to fade in the wet signal, if you don’t need to process it further. may help with latency.
another way to fade between 2 tracks using the scenes would be to use the volume on the amp page rather than the main volume of each track,
ive never had any latency problems with the ot, it must be something to do with you fx settings?
