Oh man looking forward to this, good lookin out! One of the first rap tapes I ever got (other than the beastie boys license to ill) was geto boys my minds playing tricks on me in like 1991. This is a man who can tell a story like no other.

This is up there with the Juvenile Tiny Desk. Great players, and Scarface is a storyteller through and through

That was great. So casual and real with Mike Dean propping up his Matriarch on bunch of paperbacks.

Yeah, I actually came here for an explanation that the huge pile of cocaine Pacino sticks his face into wasn’t really as big as I thought it was…

Hell yeah, what a great performance.

Yeah, it’s a 10/10 for me. I also really love the Nile Rogers / Chic tiny desk concert.

In retrospect I wish someone had given him a nice electret lavalier mic or set up a pair of stereo mics and fixed it in post instead of that single stationary mic. Dude is super expressive and moves around too much while he’s rapping for the fixed position job they set him up with. Sick performance either way though.
