Saving a sound to another folder

Hi,

Have a good nose around but couldnt find an answer.

I have a snare drum on track 2, i want to copy the sound into a folder i’ve created called ‘my favourites’

How is this done please?

Thanks

a “sound” or a sample?
if you’ve tweaked a sample - it’s a “sound” now - and if you want to save it as a sample, you need to resample it. then the easiest thing to do to organize it into a favorites folder would be to use the transfer app.

If you mean sound, and not sample: Sounds reside in sound banks, not sample folders.
An explanation of how to save sounds for reuse is here

Thanks. It’s a sample. I have left it as is so I guess that means it’s a sample.

Yes I found in the end using transfer app was best, shame it’s not possible to just copy and paste samples into folders on the actual digitakt.

When I did it on the transfer app though I had to find the sample on my Mac, and drop it in my faves. I couldn’t see it in the transfer app. Which I thought was odd.

You can’t make a copy and paste in another folder but you can select for “move” and move a sample to another location within the Digitakt.
