I bought a sample pack. when i import the samples to a flex track, the sounds are loaded one octave too low. i have to set the pitch to +12 to make them sound like on my mac finder sound player.

The samples might have a 96k sample rate - Octatrack requires 44.1k. Higher rates will sound pitched down.

Ok. So next question. Pretty serious one.
When i test samples in the OT2 browser, a long 808 kick in this case, it sounds great. When i play the sample from a slot, it wobbles.
Why?

Yeah you got it. The timestretch makes stuff sound kind of… blurry.
