Sample Pack - From Dusk Till Dawn (196 samples & sample chains)

Hi Everyone,

I just released a new sample pack which can of course be used with any sampler, but contains sample chains for both Digitakt and Octatrack. Also included are all separate samples in both mono and stereo formats. The samples were made from the preset pack for Digitone with the same name that I released earlier this year.

To celebrate the fact that I quit my day job to focus full time on music, there’s a 9 euro discount on this sample pack until the end of 2021. To everyone who has supported me over the years and this community in general: Sincerely thank you because you’ve helped making this possible

Can’t wait. Last couple of weeks at the day job and then full force ahead.

I neither have the need nor the budget for samples. But the preview definitely sounds neat!
I read your website. In sincerely hope your plan pans out.
Godspeed with your endeavours

Ooooh just noticed the 44.1 samples! Thanks so much, hope that it’s OK that they’re going in a Toraiz

Haha yeah certainly, samples are for samplers
Note that those are sample chains though.

But actually good to know that Toraiz uses 44.1. I’ll see if I can add separate 44.1/16bit samples to the pack this weekend.

Question about Digitakt chains. Anyway to make the Start time jump by increments of 1 or 2 versus 4?

Also, for this pack, what should the sample length be set to for the chains?

Thanks!

Unfortunately there’s no way to change that. Beat to create sample chains in such a way that you can scroll through them with increments of 4.

IMHO 6 samples per chain also gives the best balance between the amount of mb it takes per slot and the fact that it’s still possible to distinguish samples because the waveform is still readable.

Set sample length to a point before the next sample starts. It depends on the length of space between each sample within a chain what the max sample length is per sample. But one thing is always true: you can set the sample length with the same method as sample start by going by increments of 4 from the sample start point until it reaches the beginning of the next sample. :+1:t2:
