Where do you gor for used gear when you need it shipped, with possible safe payement and delivery options? for EU.
Ebay prices are ridicolous mostly, at least for Electron gear. On Reverb everything is at least 200-300 € more than on sites like kleinanzeigen.de or mercatinomusicale.
Localy in Croatia I can’t do much about it becsuse it’s a tiny market for these kind of things.
Of course, I don’t have access to the marketplace here since I’m still new.
Croatia is indeed a tiny market and if you browse sites in other countries people usually prefer to only sell domestically since the risk for fraud is quite a bit higher if you ship internationally…
I‘m based in Germany and sell exclusively through Kleinanzeigen so I can’t help you with other platforms from other countries.
Is there anything happening in Slovenia? It’s even smaller as a country but I‘ve seen there’s a bigger turntablism scene than in Croatia which surprised me… maybe it’s similar with the synth crowd.
Other than that I hope someone else has some usefull sites. Austria should have some options as well…
Willhaben.at has plenty of gear. But I rarely see international sellers on there. Buying… People might send overseas… You can see if it’s still worth it after shipping costs. Newer used gear prices are often not that heavily discounted
In Slovenia there’s Bolha, but unless you’re looking for something in the range of Yamaha PSR-like auto-accompaniment type of keyboard there’s not a lot of choice on it, especially compared to something like reverb. At least when it comes to synths. Still, people use it and I managed to sell all my gear on it so far (and also bought some).
I guess the risk is equally high on both sides, people always find new ways to screw others over unfortunately…
But I remembered this site here, used gear being sold with warranty. Steep shipping prices outside of Germany though and it seems that the shop is currently closed (maybe summer vacation).
We have https://fr.audiofanzine.com/ in France. Great site with in-house payment tool to keep you away from worrying about scams. I’m sure any french here would recommend this site.
I’d recommend Audiofanzine too and have never had any problems buying from there in France. Whether sellers would post to Croatia is only something you’d find out by asking, but there is buyer and seller protection.
Audiofanzine seems like exactly what I was looking for. heard about it, but never understood that they have their own payment system (Looper), by which you get payed after the transaction has finalised.
I guess facebook sometimes will have stuff on their marketplace in local markets. But even here in Germany, the used market is sort of dominated by Ebay Kleinanzeigen. Kleinanzeigen is not 100% safe, quite a few scammers on there, but there’s also lots of legit stuff on there, so it comes down to taking the right precautions.
Buying off Kleinanzeigen shouldn’t be too big an issue for you since Croatia is in the EU and shipping shouldn’t cost the world. Prices on Kleinanzeigen are usually very good, you just have to look around a bit. I check my local market (Berlin) mostly and I’ll see excellent deals more often than I’d like to
Reverb I don’t bother with at all. Too expensive, mostly shipped from overseas with ridiculous shipping costs.
The marketplace here is also good, though lately it seems most offerings are US/UK based. But when stuff pops up it’s often very good
Either way, dobrodošao prijatelje i pozdrav iz ex-YU diaspore
I found Facebook marketplace works well in Malta, but not so much in Slovenia, better to use Bolha. Since Croatia is neighbouring, maybe you can post on there too and get some hits.
