Hi Everyone,
I have no problem triggering the RYTM using midi in. It’s all good there.
However, I want to record that pattern.
When I hit record, or record and play it doesn’t record the external triggers. If I manually hit record on pads it records it fine.
I checked my settings and can’t see anything obvious that I may be missing…
Any ideas why it’s triggering but not recording?
can only add it’s fine here
but be sure to be triggering on the same track you are actively recording on
unless using auto channel
Pretty sure I had auto chan on… but I’ll have to check later!

the deleted auto channel comment was bogus on my first reply - thankfully !
setting up the individual channels is the way forward, this also works fine for me fwiw
